The Ideal Pocket Monster Legends: Z-A Super Form According to the Zodiac Sign

This return of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited immense enthusiasm within the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the game's launch, to trainers forming firm views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to look forward to.

With many of the Super Forms showcasing unique designs that emphasize their traits, one thought came to mind: How can connect this with astrology? This list is inspired by a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was almost chosen for Aries, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as always furious, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, known for being playful, cheerful, and spontaneous. That's why Aries much more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only spews lava when provoked. Stay on the friendly side of both and enjoy a strong ally; should you offend them, be ready to get burned.

The Bull – Super Heracross

Similar to a devoted Taurus, the steadfast Heracross species, whether in its regular and Mega form, has aided numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, each the Pokémon and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their position to the end. What about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed love of snacks. Many past Pokédex entries note their craving for tasty tree sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it everything, which is true Bull-sign vibe.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute royalty. You cannot convince me this creature is not the life of every party, providing an endless fountain of gossip to anyone who wants to hear. Just like an captivating, sociable Twins, it's very easy to imagine Super Medicham captivating an entire open area with their stories. Medicham’s official description also mentions its ability to predict an opponent's future actions, which seems very like a socially-savvy Gemini.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

Cancer is widely considered as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a passionate sign famous for often becoming absorbed in their emotions. According to the Pokédex, Super Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to fully manage,” which sounds a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to create a storm cloud over its very self – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is going to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Oh, did you think I was planning to select Pyroar for the king of the zodiac? Besides the fact that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is obviously Mega Starmie, the star whose legs just became an internet sensation for being extremely glamorous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a performance, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with perpetual digestive issues. The sign famous for being endearingly judgmental is strongly reflected throughout this creature's whole lineage, from a always shocked face like a Maiden when you tell them you lack a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden posts to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” instead of making a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Observe this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the sensors on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s abilities. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress more about others.

Scorpio – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through sheer hatred and swore retribution on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like many conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio friends. A Scorpion loves karma and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Each Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly staging a performance. Being a Sagittarius myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “silly small jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most attention-seeking Super Form, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “poses to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the ability to foresee disasters in advance? That exudes the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always believe they’re right. The thing is, much like a prophetic Super Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that players meet in Legends: Z-A – just like a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Detached air sign Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame placement that is most like a flame symbol – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous jokes about Sagittarius and Aquarius being chaotic partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame category fits seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall daunting aura is also very Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “absorbs hatred and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
