Iranian Forces State Attack on American Facility in the Kingdom of Bahrain, During Regional Retaliatory Strikes.

Tehran reports attacking a US naval base in Bahrain, as Iran launched operations across the region in response for a large-scale and continuing offensive targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.

Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an area in the area of the main base of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The extent of any destruction is not yet known and the American officials has remained silent.

Missile Defenses Activated

Elsewhere across the region, the UAE, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - all home to US military bases - stated they have intercepted incoming projectiles in their territorial skies.

In the Qatari capital, the Qatari Ministry of Defence said it had intercepted several missiles apparently targeting the al-Udeid air base, the biggest US military installation in the region.

Operation "Truthful Promise 4"

The Iranian Revolutionary Guard declared it was attacking US bases and assets as part of operation "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the strikes on the Islamic Republic launched by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.

That preceding assault - executed at around 06:15 GMT - has so far focused on locations linked to the the regime, with US President Donald Trump urging the people of Iran to rise up against the regime.

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard across the country after the Israel Defense Forces reported it had identified an incoming Iranian missile barrage.

The defence ministry of the UAE announced that the nation has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".

"Emirati air defenses responded to the projectiles with notable success and shot down a series of missiles," the statement continued.

Officials reported missile fragments fell on a neighborhood in the capital, resulting in some structural damage and the death of one civilian.

The United States Air Force is stationed at Al Dhafra Air Base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the Emirati Air Force.
